Europrean Materials Society Graduate Student Award (May 2019)

Houman Bahmani Jalali, won the Graduate Student Award at the 2019 Spring Meeting of the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) in Nice, France. He received his award by Prof. Anke Weidenkaff from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Prof. Sergio Brovelli from the University of Milano-Bicocca and Prof. Iwan Moreels from Ghent University.

Nano Scale Horizons Best Poster Award (June 2018)

Houman Bahmani Jalali won the Nanoscale Horizons Best Poster Prize at the Tenth International Conference on Quantum Dots (QD 2018) in Toronto, Canada with his work titled “Synthesis of Bio-compatible Type-II InP/ZnO Quantum Dots”. The award was given by University of Toronto vice-president Professor Ted Sargent.
